BATS means lots of fun for you and your little ones. Here's some of the things we get up to together.
Scroll down for key dates, but for details of coffee sessions and other events, please email us at penarthbats@yahoo.co.uk.
We organise coffee sessions for members in our homes three times a week during term-time. These give youngsters a chance to make new friends (and discover new toys!), as well as giving parents a valuable chance to chat.
Mondays: 1.30-3.15pm Thursdays: 10am-midday Fridays: 1.30-3.15 pm
We have great parties at Christmas and Hallowe'en and an Easter Egg Hunt (see below for dates). The annual 'Tiddly Proms' gives the children a chance to dress up, and during the school holidays we organise meet-ups at local attractions such as Cosmeston, Amelia Trust Farm or St Fagan's.
We all yearn for some adult conversation, so our social programme includes evenings out, such as a meal in a local restaurant, ten-pin bowling, a quiz or a comedy night.
Our twice-yearly Nearly New Sales give you the chance to pick up fantastic bargains, or to sell on items you no longer need.
As well as Nearly New Sales, we have raised money for BATS funds and our grants scheme by holding quiz nights, barn dances, a comedy night and a book evening. Fundraising ideas are always welcome. We've also held sponsored 'Toddle Waddles' for the Meningitis Trust.
